Kristin Fisher was hired by CNN on July 20, 2021. She is CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent. In that role she is responsible for covering all aspects of space, from NASA as well as the new Space Force, to commercial space companies and the advent of space tourism. Kristin's parents were both NASA astronauts. Kristin spent her childhood in space and has now employed as an White House reporter for FOX News reporting on the Trump and Biden Administrations regarding space-related issues. Over the course of that time she covered the presidential 2020 campaign, two impeachment trials as well as two initiatives to end the spread of coronavirus and two other administrations' efforts. Kristin has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism from Boston University. She lives in Washington, D.C., along with her family members, including their three-year-old daughter.
