Kristin Fisher was hired by CNN on July 20, 2021. She is CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent. In that role she is responsible for covering all aspects of space, from NASA as well as the new Space Force, to commercial space companies and the advent of space tourism. Kristin's parents were both NASA astronauts. Kristin spent her childhood in space and has now employed as an White House reporter for FOX News reporting on the Trump and Biden Administrations regarding space-related issues. Over the course of that time she covered the presidential 2020 campaign, two impeachment trials as well as two initiatives to end the spread of coronavirus and two other administrations' efforts. The reporter also went on numerous journeys with the Vice President and President of the United States, including a top secret visit to Afghanistan together with the former president Donald Trump. Kristin worked her way through the regional news market of Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, and Washington, D.C. for nearly a decade before becoming a part of the CBS network. She won the Emmy Award in Washington, D.C. for her work as the CBS affiliate's single-man reporter. Kristin used her experience in the field to create Field Mouse Films. The firm specialized in making documentary films. It was also a favourite among corporate clients, including Uber, Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism from Boston University. She lives in Washington, D.C., along with her family members, including their three-year-old daughter.
